Request Education Programs
Each poison control center in Florida has an education department that offers programs promoting poison prevention and awareness of specific or emerging poison dangers. The departments attend health and wellness fairs and safety fairs, as well as conduct presentations for schools, daycares, nursing homes, and other types of organizations, including training for healthcare professionals. Contact the center serving your area for more information. Each center has different policies on event attendance, and participation is also based on availability of personnel.
